Welcome to the Mint Bar and Cafe – a classic Montana Steakhouse
We follow a long tradition of serving up true Montana style hospitality in the Bozeman area since 1904.
Our award winning steaks, chops, and fresh seafood has made the Mint a local favorite since 1994.
Our promise is our motto – “The juiciest steaks, the freshest seafood and the coldest martinis”
Our promise is our motto – “The juiciest steaks, the freshest seafood and the coldest martinis”
From our famous 32 oz. Double Rib Eye to our half pound Mint Burgers, you will taste the quality of our certified Angus beef, (often from local suppliers) that will keep you coming back year after year.
From creative nightly specials and appetizers to our famous Burger night every Wednesday, we take pride in the fact that we are a “one of a kind place”, not a franchise. This allows us the freedom to do what we want, when we want, and how we want.
One of the largest selections of cocktails and wines in the Bozeman Area
Our friendly and creative mixologists can shake up classic cocktails and martinis as well as our constantly changing drink specials and infused vodkas. Our 100 plus bottle wine list and wines by the glass offers something for every taste.
By the way, we definitely speak fishing here. Fly fishing. We are close to the Yellowstone, Madison, Gallatin, and Missouri rivers and in the summer there’s usually a friendly guide at the bar to clue you in on flies, techniques and where to go.

A Night at the Mint
"That buffalo tenderloin was beyond remarkable. The wine list unexpected (in the good way) and the waitress was actually funnier than you were. This isn’t like those chains, you think to yourself. Or those self-consciously fancy places.
It’s like the kind of restaurant that you would open, if you had a mind to. You know, local, unpretentious, but does all the important things right. And of course this way, you don’t have to do the dishes."
